- Content lanes: a one-time picker on first run lets you choose Intimate Mode (full adult content, 18+) or Story Mode, and a single header toggle switches lanes at any time.
- Per-band chat-model ladder, ratified by A/B testing: Rocinante-X 12B at 8-16 GB, Cydonia-24B at 24 GB+ (co-resident with the image engine at 32 GB, so chat and renders run with no model-swap waiting), Skyfall-31B as an opt-in download.
- Scenario prologues: every new scenario opens with an era card and cast-introduction panels, backed by 69 reviewed cast portraits across 21 scenarios.

- Prose quality pass at every band: a measured AI-tell cleaner enforced in code (~82-86 percent tell reduction) on choice labels, narrative leads, and image prompts, with per-scenario ban packs keeping genre discipline.
- Zero-toolchain install: the installer bundles portable Node, Ollama, and ComfyUI runtimes with resumable first-run downloads — no terminal steps. Bundled Kokoro TTS (CPU) makes the voice toggle work out of the box; voice stays off by default.

- Male-POV render hardening: the gender-lock and male-face detect-and-reject pass now applies to every applicable scene, not only harem presets.
- Provenance everywhere: every rendered panel — including inpaint and manual renders — is watermarked and C2PA-signed.
- Fixed: period scenarios rendered the cast in modern clothes on multi-panel storyboards — era attire now reaches every render path.
- Fixed: choice chips could repeat the same canned options every turn; failed chat turns now show an error bubble with a retry path; concurrent auto-saves during export could crash the server and drop panels.
- Fixed: SFW-mode renders were blurred before escalation (sampler regime now matches the checkpoint), and the SFW auto-picked chat model is bounded to fit your VRAM.

- Content Credentials (C2PA) now verify correctly on panels whose prompts carry accented or romanized text - previously such panels could show 'Content Credentials not available' despite being signed.
- Invisible watermark embedding is queued per render and repaired at export time, so exported panels reliably carry the provenance mark.
- Installer build now refuses to ship a stale provenance signer (source-hash gate at freeze time).
- Image-first storyboard mode: every scene becomes a panel you can keep.
